Media detail - editing history

The last tab of the media detail shows who intervened in the media file and when. It serves mainly for tracing changes where more people have access to the media — for instance when we are asking who removed the media from a channel or when the subtitles were added.

The table of records has four columns: the ID of the record, the User who made the change, the Date and time accurate to the second, and the Report describing what happened. The listing is sorted from the newest record; clicking a column header changes the sorting, and the refresh iconin the top right loads the list again. Below the table there is paging and a choice of the number of rows per page.

What is written into the history

A record is created automatically for most interventions in the media:

⚠ It is not possible to write into the history manually or to delete from it. Only someone who is allowed to edit the media can open it, so it cannot be used to find out what colleagues did with other people’s media.
