The last tab of the playlist detail shows who intervened in the playlist and when. It is most useful for playlists filled by several people — we can trace in it who added a particular media file to the playlist or removed it from it.
The table has four columns: the ID of the record, the User who made the change, the Date and time accurate to the second, and the Report describing what happened. The listing is sorted from the newest record; clicking a column header changes the sorting, and the refresh icon
in the top right loads the list again. Below the table there is paging and a choice of the number of rows per page.
What is written into the history
A record is created automatically for interventions in the playlist:
- setting up the playlist and the edits of its descriptive data and publishing and security
- adding and removing media on the Playlist content tab and changing their order — for adding and removing, the report contains the name and ID of the media concerned
- generating the preview image
- the creation and removal of links — tags, sorting into criteria, allowed organisations, user lists and IP rules
- adding the playlist into a channel and removing it from it
⚠ The playlist history captures only interventions in the playlist itself. Changes inside the included media — for instance edits of their descriptive data or protection — are written into the history of the media in question.
⚠ It is not possible to write into the history manually or to delete from it. Only someone who is allowed to edit the playlist can open it.
